How I Met Your Mother star Josh Radnor is set to make his Broadway return in Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Disgraced — the first upcoming Broadway play to be announced after Sunday’s Tony Awards.

Set to open on October 23, Disgraced will mark Radnor’s big return to Broadway, following his debut starring opposite Kathleen Turner in 2002’s The Graduate.

Though details of who Radnor will play in the upcoming drama are unclear, Deadline reports that the former How I Met Your Mother star will indeed share the stage alongside Gretchen Mol, Karen Pittman, and Hari Dhillon in the upcoming play by Ayad Akhtar.

Directed by Kimberly Senior and set in the post-9/11 world, the upcoming drama tells the story of Amir Kapoor (Dhillon), a successful, up-and-coming Pakistani-American lawyer and his artist wife (Mol), who enjoy all the luxuries of living among New York City’s upper crust in the Upper East Side.

When the couple decide to host a dinner party and invite a fellow co-worker and his wife over for the soiree, polite table chit-chat quickly turns hostile as topics about race, beliefs, and identity are brought up.

The upcoming return to the stage marks Radnor’s first officially announced project following the series finale of CBS’s hit comedy series, How I Met Your Mother.

Disgraced will begin early performances at New York City’s Lyceum Theatre on September 27, and officially opens on October 23.
