Netflix has dropped a second full-length House of Cards season 2 trailer, and this one is just as exciting as the first.

The new House of Cards season 2 trailer released Monday morning starts off with Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) taking the oath for the Vice Presidency. “One heartbeat away from the presidency and not a single vote cast in my name – democracy is so overrated.”

Appearing in the trailer are all lead cast members and a couple of well-known television personalities including MSNBC’s Chris Matthews. The bread and butter of the lengthy preview is a decision to cover up conspiracies brought on by Frank. We also get two of his classic moments when he speaks right to the audience. For more, watch the first trailer.

“Frank’s rapid ascension to the heights of power means big changes for both him and Claire, but his sudden rise creates powerful enemies and the increasing chance that his dark secrets will be exposed,” says Netflix in a new synopsis attached to the trailer.

A new poster for House of Cards season 2 was also released today. On it we see Frank, once again sitting in the Lincoln Memorial chair, but this time his wife Claire (Robin Wright) takes a seat on it too. The tagline reads, “There are two kinds of pain.”

House of Cards season 2 premieres all 13 episodes on Friday, February 14, 2014 on Netflix. To get fans ready for the debut, late last week Netflix released director commentaries for all season 1 episodes.
