CNN has spoken to eight House of Cards crew members who say Kevin Spacey acted inappropriately numerous times on the set of Netflix’s hit drama.

Since Anthony Rapp’s bombshell interview on Sunday, new stories about Spacey have been slowly but surely coming to light, and CNN’s report may be most damning of all. Though none of the crew members wanted to be identified out of fear of being fired, the allegations are major. One production assistant says Spacey assaulted him twice in the same day:

Spacey sexually assaulted him one afternoon when the assistant was assigned to drive to an offsite location to pick up Spacey and bring him to the “House of Cards” set, which is located about 30 miles outside of Baltimore.

The production assistant says that when he and Spacey were just minutes away from the set and while the car was moving, Spacey, who was driving, put his hands down the production assistant’s pants. The production assistant told CNN that the touching was nonconsensual.

“I was in a state of shock,” he said. “He was a man in a very powerful position on the show and I was someone very low on the totem pole and on the food chain there.”

The assistant then helped Spacey carry his belongings into his trailer, at which point the Frank Underwood actor “cornered him, blocked his exit and made inappropriate contact with him.” When the PA told Spacey he was uncomfortable, the actor became “‘visibly flustered,’ fled the trailer, got in his car and left for the remainder of the day.”

CNN has additional stories in their report. Everyone they spoke to “supported the idea that the set could be toxic for young men because of Spacey.”

In light of the new allegations, Netflix said that they “will continue to work with MRC during this hiatus time to evaluate our path forward as it relates to the production, and have nothing further to share at this time.”

Production on House of Cards’ sixth and final season is currently on hold as Netflix and production company MRC figure out what to do about Spacey. In my opinion, the only way for Netflix to resolve this is to write Frank out of the show, or cancel the sixth season all together.
