The House of Cards final trailer has Claire Underwood in the Oval Office as the first female President of the United States, and she’s about to seriously shake things up.
We’re about to embark on the sixth and final season of Netflix’s House of Cards, and while we’ve had plenty of teasers that have gotten us stoked for this new era of Underwood reign, nothing can prepare us for life under President Claire Underwood. With her husband dead, Claire is finally stepping completely out of her husband’s shadow and blazing her own trail.

The era of the middle-aged white man might be over, as Claire has said in previous teasers, however, it doesn’t mean that we’re done seeing corruption in D.C. In fact, President Claire Underwood might even be more powerful (and dangerous) than anyone ever imagined. Netflix released a full trailer for the new season, and it has got us on the absolute edge of our seats.
The message of this new trailer is clear: don’t mess with Claire Underwood. She’s out to get exactly what she wants, and she isn’t going to let anyone stand in her way. Of course, the methods that she uses to grab that power are a bit troublesome to the Washington elite and her constituents, but she’s not about to apologize for ruffling feathers anytime soon.
In short, House of Cards might be wrapping up its story, but don’t expect the final episodes of the series to be a slow winding down period. This final season is going to take the story to a whole different level, and we’re ready for it.
Robin Wright has delivered powerhouse performances each season, and we’re so excited to see her fully unleashed as Commander in Chief. Of course, Wright isn’t the only exceptional talent that will be rocking our world in the final season. She’ll also be joined by two powerhouse actors new to the show in Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear.
House of Cards season 6 premieres on Netflix on November 2.
