Hot Cop might be a bit of a silly title, but this is a romance novel you shouldn’t pass up. Laurelin Paige and Sierra Simone have written a fun, sexy, pregnancy storyline that is impossible to put down.

About ‘Hot Cop’ by Laurelin Paige and Sierra Simone:

You have the right to remain sexy.

Anything you say can and will be used to get you in my bed.

You have the right to use my body to give yourself a delirious, life-changing orgasm.

If you have trouble…don’t worry, I’m a bit of an expert in that department.

There’s nothing ‘thin’ about my blue line, if you catch my drift, and trust me, I know how to put those handcuffs to good use.

Livia Ward wants a baby before she’s thirty.  And even though Officer Chase Kelly is exactly the kind of cocky jerk this librarian has sworn off, he is undeniably hot.  Both of them think they can give each other what they want–a few nights of fun for Officer Kelly, a no-strings baby for Livia–but this hot cop is about to learn that sex, babies, and love don’t always play by the rules.

From NYT Bestselling Author, Laurelin Paige and USA Today Bestselling Author, Sierra Simone comes a steamy contemporary romantic follow-up to last year’s bestseller P*rn Star.

‘Hot Cop’ by Laurelin Paige and Sierra Simone review:

Laurelin Paige and Sierra Simone have written the mother of all pregnancy storylines with Hot Cop! For anyone that loves romance with a pregnancy twist, like myself, this novel is like finding a gold mind.

It’s super fun to read, with lots of sexy, and the type of story that you’ll want to read in one sitting. I’m already looking forward to reading this one over again and suspect that it will become a favorite to re-read.

Livia has sworn off guys, but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t want children. And with her thirties quickly approaching she starts to wonder if she shouldn’t make that dream a reality. Plans for artificial insemination go right out the window when she meets Chase (AKA Hot Cop himself). When she finds out he’s into her, they come to an agreement so they can both get what they want.

But like all seemingly good plans, things start to get messy. Despite Livia not wanting to get attached to anyone she can’t help but feel a pull towards Chase thanks to their off the charts chemistry that will make you blush.

It doesn’t help that Chase starts to feel similarly possessive of her, despite not wanting to. He might not like the idea of settling down, but he sure likes the idea of getting a certain librarian pregnant.

In the process of trying to have a baby, the two end up growing closer without even trying to. Along the way they learn just how compatible they are and that maybe it wouldn’t be so bad to have a partner in life. They may not need each other, but they’re certainly happier together and it hits you with all the feels.

The pair aren’t without flaws, but they’re both lovable anyways. Livia is a strong heroine, but sometimes she’s so set in her ways that she doesn’t think about how her actions will affect others.

Chase is clearly an alpha male with a soft side, but he doesn’t always want to admit it. Even though he’s protecting the community, always there for his nephews and family, he doesn’t want to let anyone get to close. He has to learn how to let someone in before he loses them.

I definitely recommend this novel to anyone that loves strong heroines, alpha males with soft spots, and fun-light hearted romance.
