The first trailer for the fifth season of Homeland is here, and it looks like Carrie is struggling to find her way again.

The newly-released Homeland season 5 trailer depicts a conversation between Saul and Carrie two years after the events of season 4. In this serious-sounding talk Carrie is being called “naive and stupid” for her mistakes (possibly the ones she made in Islamabad last season). Or, Saul is referring to the two kidnappings that occur during this new season 5 trailer:

Quinn makes a couple of appearances in the new trailer as well. When we last saw him, he was running off on a dark ops mission after being effectively dumped by Carrie in the season 4 finale. Will these two finally patch things up and move on?

In addition to today’s small preview, Showtime has released a new description of Homeland season 5. “Homeland will pick up two years after Carrie Mathison’s ill-fated tenure as Islamabad station chief,” the network writes. “Struggling to reconcile her guilt and disillusionment with years of working on the front lines in the ‘war on terror,’ Carrie finds herself in a self-imposed exile in Berlin, estranged from the CIA and working as the head of security for a German philanthropist.”

Homeland filmed all of season 5 exclusively in Germany (Notably, it’s the first time a U.S. television show has filmed a season only in the country), so it’ll be interesting to see how Saul and Quinn end up abroad as well. Perhaps Quinn’s scenes will actually be set somewhere else since he has no reason to be in Germany — unless he’s stalking Carrie.

The new season premieres this September on Showtime. Earlier this week the cabler announced a new streaming package for cord-cutters which only costs $10.99 per month.
