Brody who? The new Homeland season 4 trailer features Carrie and Saul doing what they do best: Taking down bad guys.

The new Homeland season 4 trailer, viewable above, may not necessarily depict a scene from the upcoming episodes, but it does give us a glimpse into Carrie and Saul’s new working relationship.

The video depicts Carrie on the ground in Pakistan confirming where the bad activity is taking place. She receives a call from Saul who says “we go on your order.”

“Send them in,” she replies.

The bomb hits their target as Carrie watches from a rear-view mirror.

The video is wonderfully paired up with Lorde’s “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” a song the artist debuted on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack last year.

What we love about this scene is that it depicts Carrie in a new position of power and Saul trusting her decisions. It’s a departure from many moments over the past few seasons of Homeland where Carrie was weak.

Homeland season 4 premieres with two back-to-back episodes on Sunday, October 5. In light of Brody’s death during the season 3 finale, the show will find Carrie working full-time overseas.

“Season four will find Carrie Mathison (Emmy, SAG and Golden Globe Award winner Claire Danes) assigned to one of the most volatile and dangerous CIA stations in the Middle East where she is back on the front lines in the war on terror,” says the synopsis for the fourth season.
