Last week Carrie used a poor choice of words while speaking to Quinn at the very end of the episode, but will the latter fall deeper into turmoil during Homeland season 4, episode 4?

The newest episode of Homeland season 4 airs tonight at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific on Showtime. Titled “Iron in the Fire,” tonight’s story will see Carrie get closer yet further from her target when new twists come down on her operation.

The synopsis for “Iron in the Fire” reads: “Carrie gets a tip from Redmond regarding Quinn’s lead. Saul calls in a favor with an old friend in the Pakistani military. Fara uncovers a deep-rooted conspiracy.”

A trailer for episode 4 teases several plot lines, including Carrie getting close to Aayan in a way that may be intimate. In other shots we see Carrie and Quinn (good to see he’s back!) working to capture their new enemy, and the latter breaking into Fahrad’s home so they can monitor his cell phone. The operation looks like another classic/tense Homeland mission:

One final thing worth noting: At the very beginning of this clip we see Saul asking someone point black if they’re responsible for the death of Sandy. It looks like Saul is enjoying trying to help Carrie out.

Photos from the storyline depict Carrie and Quinn working on their Fahrad mission and Saul working with Fara:
