Following a two-hour premiere last Sunday, Homeland continues this weekend with season 4, episode 3, titled “Shalwar Kameez”.

Hypable had the chance to watch Homeland season 4, episode 3 in advance and can tell you that it introduces a couple interesting new twists. Yes, Homeland is able to keep up the level of excitement set by the first two episodes last week. For example, Quinn’s frustrations during episode 2 were just the beginning of how he processes what happened with him, Sandy, and Carrie.

The synopsis for this Sunday’s episode teases the big moments in the episode 3 storyline. “Carrie ventures a delicate alliance with her counterpart at Pakistan’s secretive Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Fara fails to recruit a key asset, forcing Carrie to intervene. Still reeling over events in Islamabad, Quinn zeroes in on a potential lead,” it reads.

Stills from the episode depict Carrie making her way around Pakistan, Saul dropping into town to have a couple quick conversations with Carrie, and Fara speaking with Allyn:

In last week’s two-hour Homeland season 4 premiere we watched as Carrie started to figure out how one of the CIA’s best workers, Sandy, misled them into bombing a wedding. The attack was captured on video from inside the venue and posted to YouTube, thus causing a major headache for the CIA. Meanwhile, the person who took the video didn’t want to post it to the internet, but his friend did. Check out our recap for more details.

Homeland season 4 airs Sunday, October 12 at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific on Showtime.
