A second clip from Homeland season 3, episode 7 titled “Icarus” has been released and depicts Saul meeting with Javadi.
Seemingly moments after punching Javadi point blank in the face, Saul counters a slew of demands from the 12/12 bombing mastermind by teasing that he has “much bigger plans” for the terrorist. Watch below:
What are those plans Saul has in mind? Those remain to be seen, but one of Homeland’s exciting aspects this season is its ability to be completely unpredictable (for better or for worse). Once we learn what Saul wants out of Javadi, perhaps the season’s endgame will become clearer.
We suspect his ideas may have something to do with Brody. We’re also certain that whatever Saul has in mind, it has to be done in time for him to show the president that he can remain CIA Director.
Another clip from Homeland season 3, episode 7 depicts Adal telling Quinn that he’s the lead suspect in episode 6’s double murder thanks to a security camera at a neighbor’s home.
In last week’s Homeland season 3 episode we watched as Carrie and Quinn captured Javadi, but they didn’t arrive at the scene quick enough to prevent him from killing his ex-wife and the nanny. Elsewhere, Dana legally changed her name and then decided to move out of the house so she can move on from her father.
