A new clip from Homeland season 3, episode 11 airing this Sunday reveals that someone important has joined Brody in Iran.

That someone is Carrie, who’s returned to the country and changed her appearance with a difference hair color and local wardrobe like she did in season 2.

Homeland season 3, episode 11 is titled “Big Man in Town,” and in this clip we see the people of Iran warmly greeting Brody as he declares that he is seeking asylum in the country. The reception from Iranians reminds us that these people will feel incredibly betrayed when Brody completes his assignment to kill one of their top people, the leader of the Revolutionary Guard. The planned murder is part of Saul’s plan to put Javadi into a top leader role in Iran.

It shouldn’t be too surprising that Carrie is there to help get Brody out after he kills the Revolutionary Guard. In last Sunday’s episode we saw her ask Fara for the use of her uncle’s home in Tehran as a safe house for Brody.

In another clip from Homeland season 3, episode 11 we see Saul briefing everyone at the CIA about Brody’s mission.

“Brody’s loyalty to the mission wavers when he meets a ghost from his past,” says episode 11’s synopsis. “Meanwhile, Lockhart’s confirmation looms; and Saul stares into the precipice between success and failure.”

Homeland season 3, episode 11 airs Sunday, December 8 at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific on Showtime. It is the penultimate episode of the third season and should be a stellar storyline as we finally see Saul’s master plan come to a successful close – hopefully.
