The seventh season of The Vampire Diaries concludes tonight. We’ve seen the episode, so here are some things that you’ll need to be prepared for, going into the finale!
Elena is involved in multiple ways
Elena Gilbert hasn’t actually been a part of The Vampire Diaries in season 7, but she definitely hasn’t been forgotten by her fellow Mystic Falls residents, or the fans of the show. Throughout the season, the other characters have been constantly mentioning her, but she will be involved in the season 7 finale in more than one way, beyond just being mentioned by Salvatore and co.
The Salvatore brothers share a touching moment
This season of The Vampire Diaries has been largely focused on the beautiful, yet tumultuous, relationship between Damon and Stefan Salvatore, so of course, their relationship is also showcased in the finale. Expect at least one moment that will make your Salvatore loving heart squeal, and a call back to one of their experiences in the phoenix stone.
Someone who’s dead makes an appearance
The Vampire Diaries is always finding new and creative ways to bring back, or at least let us see, characters that we’ve loved and lost. Someone who is confirmed to be dead will show up in the episode and will have an important conversation with one of the main characters.
There will be another time jump
The last two season finales of The Vampire Diaries have featured a time jump of some sort, and for better or for worse, the trend doesn’t stop here. A time jump of some degree will occur at some point during the episode, not necessarily at the very end.
At least one of our predictions was completely right, and at least one was completely wrong
