It’s been two weeks since CBS aired a new episode of How I Met Your Mother thanks to the Winter Olympics juggernaut over on NBC. Now the Olympics are over and it’s an uninterrupted six-week run of new HIMYM episodes to the final episode on March 31.
When we last left the McLaren’s crew, Ted was finally, emotionally letting go of Robin (and Robin was floating into the clouds, but let’s not talk about that).
Tonight there will be a hangover. Perhaps it’ll be a metaphorical one for Ted, but definitely a literal one for the very, very drunk Barney Stinson.
The gang must figure out the proper ingredients for Barney’s “Hangover Fixer Elixer.”
For all the drinking and carousing Barney has done throughout the years, it’s only fitting that his most epic hangover should come hours before his wedding.

CBS does offer a free, legal replay of How I Met Your Mother episodes on their website to watch online the morning after an episode airs. Their video player can get a little spotty, but it’s hard to beat that low, low cost of free. iTunes also offers How I Met Your Mother episodes for purchase, and a season pass option as well.
