The cast of High School Musical is taking advantage of the COVID-19 crisis to reunite over Zoom.

Vanessa Hudgens and her High School Musical cast mates are sticking to the new status quo by getting together over Zoom. Wildcats, they’re just like us!

Although Troy Bolton actor Zac Efron didn’t make it to the call, the talented cast members that were involved in the reunion included Hudgens (Gabriella), Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay), Lucas Grabeel (Ryan), Monique Coleman (Taylor), and Corbin Bleu (Chad). High School Musical director Kenny Ortega also joined in to chat with his old team.

We can only hope that the cast reunited to discuss making appearances on the upcoming second season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series on Disney+. Actually going back to the halls of East High is the logical next step after getting together virtually, right? We can dream!

Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale already made our self-quarantines a little brighter by sharing a TikTok of themselves..er…Ashley dancing to “We’re All in This Together,” while Vanessa showed her support by singing along with a healthy helping of wine.

We couldn’t have predicted that we’d still be turning to High School Musical for help with a crisis in 2020, but we’re so glad they’re still here to help us “break free” of quarant-insanity.
