Helena Bonham Carter is officially on board to return for Enola Holmes 2 over at Netflix!

Looks like Enola and her mother are gearing up to cross paths again when the teenage super sleuth returns for yet another adventure.

According to Variety, actress Helena Bonham Carter has officially signed on to reprise her role as Eudoria Holmes in Netflix’s Enola Holmes 2.

For those of you who need a bit of a refresher, Eudoria is Enola’s mother, and subsequently taught her everything she knows. In the first movie, its Eudoria’s sudden disappearance that sends Enola on a whirlwind adventure to try and track her down.

News of Bonham Carter’s involvement with the sequel comes on the heels of Saturday’s news that actor Louis Partridge is also on board to return to reprise his role as Tewksbury.

Bonham Carter and Partridge join previously announced cast members Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill, both of whom are set to reprise their roles as siblings Enola and Sherlock Holmes, respectively.

Others set to appear as part of the sequel’s ensemble cast include David Thewlis, Susan Wokoma, Adeel Akhtar, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Hannah Dodd, Abbie Hern, Gabriel Tierney, and Serrana Su-Ling Bliss.

Filming on the sequel is set to kick off in London later this week.

Currently, there’s no word on when we might expect to see Enola Holmes 2 debut via Netflix.
