Great news, The White Lotus fans! HBO has officially renewed the series for a second season!

On Tuesday (August 10), HBO announced that it has officially renewed the critically acclaimed six-part limited series for a second season.

Created, executive produced, and written by Enlightened vet Mike White, the series is described as a social satire. Set at an exclusive tropical resort, the show follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week.

As the days go on, a darker complexity emerges amongst the travelers, the hotel staff, and amongst the local as well.

News of a season 2 renewal couldn’t have come at a better time for fans of the series— especially given that season 1 is set to wrap up this Sunday with one last episode.

And while fans now have an all new season to look forward to, they will find themselves bidding farewell to the characters they’ve come to know.

In The White Lotus season 2, viewers will leave the shores of Hawaii behind and follow a different group of vacationers as they jet to yet another White Lotus property.

Still a mystery is where in the world we’ll find ourselves for season 2, but we’re sure fans of the series will be excited to find out!

The White Lotus airs Sundays on HBO, with all episodes available to stream via HBO Max.
