Looks like Mr. Big will be returning for HBO Max’s highly anticipated Sex and the City revival after all!

HBO Max is gearing up to bring Sex in the City back in a huge way— and fans of the beloved series can rest easy knowing Mr. Big himself will be among the familiar faces returning for the revival.

On Wednesday (May 26), HBO Max announced that actor Chris Noth is officially on board to return to reprise his role of Mr. Big for the forthcoming revival.

Titled And Just Like That…, the Sex and the City revival on HBO Max is set to reunite original series stars Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie), Cynthia Nixon (Miranda), and Kristin Davis (Charlotte).

While the original series centered around the women navigating life and friendship in their 30s, this time around, And Just Like That… will explore the even more complicated reality of life and friendship now that the women are in their 50s.

In a statement announcing the big news of Chris Noth’s return, executive producer Michael Patrick King said: “I’m thrilled to be working with Chris again on And Just Like That… How could we ever do a new chapter of the Sex And The City story without our Mr. Big?”

The forthcoming Sex and the City revival is set to be comprised of 10, half-hour long episodes.

Production on And Just Like That… is slated to start in New York City this summer, though there’s currently no word on when we might expect the series to debut via HBO Max.
