Mark your calendars, Friends fans. HBO Max has finally announced a release date for the highly anticipated reunion special– and it’s premiering sooner than you might think!
On Thursday (May 13), the streamer announce that the long-awaited reunion special would officially be premiering via HBO Max at the end of the month on Thursday, May 27.
The streamer unveiled a short teaser to spread the word about the special’s new premiere date.
Set to a slowed down rendition of the iconic sit-com’s hit theme song, the Friends reunion special teaser features the core cast with their backs to the camera as they walk through Warner Bros. Sudio lot in Burbank where the special was filmed.

In addition to reuniting original stars Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, the special is also set to feature a slew of special guests.
Some notable names set to partake in the reunion special include David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevigne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon, and Malala Yousafzi.
