Glee star Harry Shum Jr. has been cast in the upcoming sequel to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon II: The Green Destiny.

Fox’s hit comedy musical Glee may be gearing up for its last season, but it looks like Mike Chang actor Harry Shum Jr. won’t be taking a break from acting for long. The 32-year-old, best known for playing dancer Mike Chang on Glee has just signed on to star in the upcoming sequel to 2000’s action drama, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Backed by The Weinstein Company, the upcoming martial arts flick has already started production and is set to film in New Zealand and China. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the upcoming sequel takes place 20 years after the events of the first film and follows the story of four martial arts heroes who must work together to keep the legendary sword, Green Destiny, from falling into the clutches of villain, Hades Dai.

Shum Jr. will play one of the four heroes in the upcoming film, named Tie-Fang, and is joined on the screen by previously announced cast members Donnie Yen (Iceman) and Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Tomorrow Never Dies). Shum Jr.’s fellow cast mates will play Silent Wolf and Yu Shu-lein respectively.

Directed by Woo-ping Yuen and written by John Fusco, the upcoming martial arts action drama is set to be released sometime in 2015.
