Yesterday we shared a little scoop concerning what the Harry Potter cast were filming for in regards to the Wizarding World expansion in Orlando.

So today we wanted to share the latest photos from the construction site itself, both at the existing Wizarding World park at Islands of Adventure and the new London area at Universal Studios.

If rumors are to be believed, a real Hogwarts Express is in the works and will transport guests from Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure to Diagon Alley at Universal Studios.

The following photos come from Orlando United, and you can see more at the link.

Hogsmeade prepares for a real Hogwarts Express station

On the Hogsmeade side, photos show construction happening behind Dragon Challenge and the stationary Hogwarts Express. Presumably, a working station is being built. It’ll be interesting to see if Universal keeps the existing Hogwarts Express train, which serves as a great photo op, or remove it because it conflicts with the new train.

Rumored Gringotts thrill ride leads vertical construction

On the Diagon Alley side, the rumored Gringotts’ show building has been the prime focus of construction so far. Tracks for the ride vehicles are also being laid, and new vertical construction has appeared outside of the show building in the form of several pillars. In a couple photos you can see the London waterfront, which we compared to the real London waterfront in September.

The Wizarding World’s Diagon Alley expansion is rumored to have a Gringotts thrill ride, The Leaky Cauldron restaurant, shops, and a London waterfront.
