The Orlando shooting cost 49 innocent lives. One of them was Luis Vielma, a Harry Potter fan who worked at the Wizarding World theme park.

A lot of tragic stories have come out over the past few days, allowing us to get to know the victims of the gay club shooting in Orlando, and even giving us harrowing glimpses at their final hours.

But what does Dumbledore say? “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times.” All it takes are a couple of Lumos spells.

Last night, guests at the Wizarding World in Orlando honored one of their own: Luis Vielma, the 22-year-old Gryffindor and theme park employee whose death was mourned by J.K. Rowling herself.

This tweet alerted us to the tribute, with a gorgeous picture:

And later, a video was posted showing people mourning and hugging, as the Cedric Diggory tribute from Goblet of Fire is applied to Luis Vielma. We’re sure he would be very moved.

Via Buzzfeed, we know that Vielma studied at the Seminole State College of Florida, while working at Universal Orlando Resort, where he operated the ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and co-workers, as well as the many other families now mourning these needless losses. Let’s stay in the spirit of Harry Potter and work to make the world a better place, so these horrendous things will stop happening.
