Whoever thought we’d see this day? All eight Harry Potter movies are back in theaters, and showtimes are now available.

Warner Brothers teamed up with IMAX to put the entire Harry Potter film series in theaters for the next week. The re-release is purposely timed to gear fans up for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which opens worldwide November 18.

Harry Potter IMAX showtimes

Harry Potter movie showtimes vary by IMAX theater, so check in with your local cineplex to see exact details. From what we’ve seen by checking our own local showtimes, it looks easy to catch all of the movies at times that are convenient to you.

This is because all eight Harry Potter movies are playing across the entire week. For example, depending on the theater, you might be able to see Half-Blood Prince and Sorcerer’s Stone on the same day. The theaters aren’t playing the series exclusively in order.

According to IMAX, tickets are available in four different packages: Single Ticket; Day Access (admittance to three or more shows in a single day); Four-Show Access (admittance to four shows any time, any day); and Festival Access (unlimited admittance throughout the event). Packages offered and pricing may vary by theatre, but we’ve seen festival access for as low as $30.

That’s right: $30 to see the movies as many times as you want over the next week. Best deal ever! You better get studying those Harry Potter showtimes now.

This is the first time Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets are available in IMAX format. Those seem like good Harry Potter movies to look at showtimes for, since we’ve never seen them on the extra big screen until now!

Best Harry Potter movies

What are the best Harry Potter movies — the ones you can’t miss? Over the past week we’ve been asking fans to rank the series so we can create the ultimate list.

Currently, Prisoner of Azkaban has been deemed the best Harry Potter movie, closely followed by Sorcerer’s Stone and Deathly Hallows, Part 2. We imagine that these three may be three of the most popular in IMAX theaters this weekend!

Which Harry Potter movies will you be seeing?

“Harry Potter is one of the most beloved film franchises of all time and is incredibly important to the history of IMAX. Therefore, being able to offer each installment—especially the initial two for the very first time in IMAX—makes this a truly magical event for fans,” said IMAX CEO Greg Foster in a press release.
