Stop-motion is still an amazing thing to witness, and what better to see made than a miniature Hogwarts castle being recreated out of pages from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

The incredibly talented guys and gals over at unPOP have spent over a month creating this short stop-motion film, which shows Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry creating itself from the pages of Prisoner of Azkaban. Watch the stop-motion video below:

The animators include Peter Heacock and Joan Kamberaj, who have done an absolutely incredible job doing something as unique as recreating Hogwarts out of paper in stop-motion. Everything feels incredibly real, as the paper is bent and crumpled into one of the most iconic castles from the world of Harry Potter.

Seeing the stop-motion miniature turn its lights on is a nice surprise, and with Fantastic Beasts’ news coming out daily, it reminds of just how magical the world of Harry Potter can be.

Gretchen Lohse is the musician who created the Harry Potter theme cover song which is used in the stop-motion video, and it certainly gives us an even more excited feeling about being back in J.K. Rowling’s magical world.

We’ve included a few GIFs from the video via The Verge, showing some of the best scenes from the unPOP’s stop-motion creation, so be sure to watch them a million times and get back into your magical-mode as we head towards the next generation of Hollywood magic with Fantastic Beasts.
