Universal Orlando will be hosting media outlets at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley expansion this week.

Websites aside, several NBC-owned properties are involved with promoting the Diagon Alley expansion over the next few days.

Starting tonight and running through Thursday, Jimmy Fallon will be hosting new episodes of The Tonight Show from Universal Orlando. Although Potter-related segments haven’t been announced, a press release told viewers to expect some references to the new land opening at Universal Studios. A line up of guest stars can be seen in our previous report.

On Wednesday, the Today Show will be hosting their third hour (9 a.m. – 10 p.m. eastern/pacific) from Orlando with Potter alums Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lastrange), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), and Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid) who will partake in a live interview. In addition, “[Today Show hosts] Al, Natalie, Willie and Tamron will give viewers ‘Theme Park 101’ highlighting the best and easiest ways to enjoy one of summer’s favorite pastimes,” according to a press release. “The Today hosts will also take part in some of Orlando’s most exciting activities like zip lining, gator watching and more.”

In addition to the aforementioned actors and actress, Universal has confirmed that Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Domhnall Gleeson (Bill Weasley), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), James Phelps (Fred Weasley), Oliver Phelps (George Weasley), and Warwick Davis (Flitwick/Griphook) will be participating in media events.

Finally, Universal Orlando will host three Potter-related webcasts unveiling new looks at Diagon Alley beginning on Wednesday when you’ll be able to watch a red carpet event. On Thursday you’ll explore the Hogwarts Express with James and Oliver Phelps, and on Friday you’ll join Felton and Lewis as you tour Diagon Alley. Learn more about the webcast schedule at this link.

Diagon Alley’s opening date has not been announced, but we wouldn’t be surprised if they unveil it this week while media, including Hypable, are in town.
