Marvel’s Spider-Man boasts more than a teenaged Peter Parker: Hannibal Buress joins Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Donald Glover, and Marisa Tomei in the big-budget high school drama.

If you weren’t already on the Spider-Man: Homecoming bandwagon, you’re running out of excuses.

While casting a younger Peter Parker and setting the new trilogy in his high school years may have led some fans to scratch their heads initially, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker won everyone over so successfully in Captain America: Civil War that most early fears were eradicated.

And even if that wasn’t enough, the additions of Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Logan Marshall-Green, Martin Starr, Robert Downey Jr., and perhaps most excitingly Donald Glover (a popular fan choice to play Spider-Man himself), should do the trick.

Or perhaps this will: According to The Wrap, comedian Hannibal Buress has joined the cast as well, in an as of yet unnamed role.

Hannibal Buress is best known as a stand-up comedian, appearing on Comedy Central and in Louie C.K.’s’ Louie. He wrote for SNL and 30 Rock before finding mainstream success as a stand-up comedian, and had his own hour-long Comedy Central special in 2014 titled Hannibal Buress Live from Chicago.

On the big screen, Buress can currently be seen in The Nice Guys and Neighbors 2, and will also star in the upcoming Baywatch remake.

The addition of Hannibal Buress is encouraging for fans hoping that Spider-Man: Homecoming will be a comedy in the style of the original Spider-Man comics. Tom Holland’s role in Civil War already indicated that his solo movie will be a lot more light-hearted than Marvel’s more dramatic offerings.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is directed by Jon Watts, and hits cinemas on July 7, 2017.
