Hamilton just lost Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr. and Philippa Soo. Now, Daveed Diggs and Renée Elise Goldsberry are leaving, too.

Although it was only a matter of time, we’re sad to see two more original Hamilton stars depart so soon after the show lost its three leads.

Hamilton, which opened last year, is a smash hit success in no small part because of its brilliant cast, which of course included creator Lin-Manuel Miranda in the titular role.

As the musical is obviously an exclusive experience, most fans know the show only through its soundtrack, in which the actors bring their characters to life through song.

But it seems that all too soon, the on-stage experience will feature a completely different set of voices. It’s been less than a week since Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr. (Aaron Burr) and Phillipa Soo (Eliza Schuyler) taught us how to say goodbye, and now, we’re learning of two more imminent departures.

The Associated Press reports that Daveed Diggs, who plays the dual role of Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson, is taking his bow tomorrow (!), on July 15.

Renée Elise Goldsberry, a.k.a. Angelica Schuyler, has also announced her departure, but at least she’ll be sticking around until sometime this fall.

(Looks like Peggy was the last one standing after all.)

Replacements for Goldsberry and Diggs have not yet been revealed, but we do know the Chicago cast for Hamilton! Find our more on AP.
