No Doubt’s leading lady Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale have both filed for divorce.

The news was first reported by TMZ on Monday afternoon, and the publication received a statement from the couple: “While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment,” they said.

The couple is reportedly splitting over “irreconcilable differences,” according to divorce documents.

Gwen and Gavin, the latter of whom leads the rock band Bush, have been together for 13 years and raised three children together (Kingston, 9; Zuma, 6; Apollo, 1). They are both asking for joint custody of their children.

We should all watch the 2006 Gilmore Girls episode “Just Like Gwen and Gavin” to pay tribute to the fallen relationship.

Unfortunately, rumors about their relationship’s demise first surfaced in August of last year via a story in OK! Magazine.
