Marvel has released new Guardians of the Galaxy images which feature new looks at a masked Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana.
Guardians of the Galaxy’s first clip was released yesterday and showed Chris Pratt as Star-Lord in a sticky situation. Today Marvel has officially released some great shots of Star-Lord with his helmet on, along with Zoe Saldana as Gamora. Click on the images to view them in HD:
We love Star-Lord’s helmet and Pratt looks like the perfect choice for the role. Zoe Saldana continues to impress us in her green skin and she looks like a formidable partner to the intergalactic crew’s leader.
Marvel shot for the fences with this film and while it’s still a wild card we think this will be a major hit with audiences with it’s unique characters and great comedic elements.
Guardians of the Galaxy’s release date is set for August 1, 2014. Featuring an intergalactic group of Guardians, led by Star-Lord, they make a desperate stand to save the galaxy.
Two-time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper voices the machine-gun-wielding Rocket Raccoon and is joined by Vin Diesel as the tree-like Groot, with Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan and Dave Bautista filling out the leading roles. James Gunn directed and wrote the script.
