The witch is back! Check out the newly released synopsis for Grimm 2×12, “Season of the Hexenbiest,” to see what happens when Adalind returns to Portland.
Adalind has a long history with both Nick and Captain Renard. Adalind’s life was ruined in episode 1×17 “Love Sick” where she fought with Nick and bit him, accidently ingesting his blood. The blood of a Grimm causes the Hexenbiest to lose all her powers and she becomes a regular woman. In order to get revenge, Adalind uses a potion on her cat to poison Juliette with a scratch in 1×22, “Woman in Black.” The poisoning causes Juliette to fall into a coma. Captain Renard uses a potion made by Adalind’s mother to wake her with a kiss in 2×02 “The Kiss.” Later in the episode, Nick’s mom attacks and kills Adalind’s mom. Now, Adalind is back to avenge her mother’s death and she’s coming for Nick first.
Episode synopsis:
Adalind (Claire Coffee) returns to wreak havoc in everyone’s lives and avenge her mother’s brutal death. She has her eyes set on Nick (David Giuntoli) and those closest to him – especially Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch). Elsewhere, Captain Renard’s (Sasha Roiz) obsession continues to escalate. Meanwhile a surprise visit at the spice shop gives Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) more than he ever bargained for. Reggie Lee also stars.
