NBC is moving its hit supernatural drama Grimm from Friday to Tuesday night!

NBC has made a bold choice to move Grimm from its Friday night spot to Tuesday where it will take the place of Ready for Love. In its Friday spot Grimm was the number one scripted series in every key demographic. Ready for Love was not doing as well as the network thought and it has quickly pulled it. Now fans will have to see how well Grimm will fare on a different night.

Press release from NBC:

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — April 19, 2013 — NBC is moving its drama “Grimm” to Tuesdays (10-11 p.m. ET) beginning April 30, behind a previously scheduled two-hour episode of “The Voice.” “Grimm” will remain in that 10 p.m. Tuesday timeslot through May 21.

“Dateline” will replace “Grimm” at 9 p.m. Fridays, beginning April 26.

It has not yet been determined when or where remaining episodes of “Ready for Love” will be aired.

Although it’s not official, it seems clear that Grimm will be picked up for a third season.

Grimm is a Universal Television and Hazy Mills production. It was created by Stephen Carpenter, David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf. Sean Hayes, Todd Milliner and Norberto Barba also serve as executive producers along with Greenwalt and Kouf.
