Before Grey’s Anatomy 9×02 “Remember the Time” airs tonight, see how Sara Ramirez feels about the episode and what’s to come for her character.

Ramirez sat down to talk about tonight’s upcoming episode. In which the show will flashback to the site of the plane crash to see how the doctors managed to survive their injuries, both emotional and physical. It will also show the chaos that occurs when they get back to Seattle Grace.

Ramirez explains that the second episode shows the snowball effects of the plane crash. Both the characters and the viewers will be feeling helpless with no control over the events taking place. They will either have to come together or don’t. Ramirez also warns fans to keep their Kleenex boxes near by, sounds like we can expect a tear jerker.

When asked how Callie and Arizona will handle the accident Ramirez replies, “It’s not easy, it’s very painful, it’s very difficult and it’s really heart-wrenching what happens.” The pair are married and have a child together so Callie is just trying to survive the situation. Without thinking about the past or about the future Callie will just try to get through each day. Although Callie is just trying to do what’s right Ramirez says she’s really worried if the couple will make it through this. Ramirez states, “I’m really worried for them. I’m genuinely concerned about what’s going to happen, how things are going to get better, if they’re going to get better.”

Luckily Callie will have someone on her side, Ramirez previews that she will begin to develop a stronger professional and personal relationship with Derek as a result of working together to rehabilitate his hand. The pair will be forming a bond because they have Mark Sloan in common. Callie will also be coming into her own as a surgeon and learning from Derek during this time.

Do you think Callie and Arizona can survive their hardships?
