ABC has released two sneak peeks for Grey’s Anatomy episode 9×09 “Run, Baby, Run” which show the doctors dealing with family matters, and they’re not very pleasant.
Episode synopsis:
As the rest of the doctors prepare for Bailey’s wedding, Richard helps her through a bout of pre-wedding jitters. Meanwhile, Lizzie butts heads with Meredith, and Callie and Jackson try to convince Derek to participate in a risky surgery that could fix his hand, on Grey’s Anatomy, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 13 (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
While doctors get ready for a new family to unite with Bailey’s wedding, two others are falling apart. Owen and Cristina are beginning their divorce, and Meredith is dealing with unhappy in-laws. Although Lizzie has willingly come to help Derek that doesn’t mean she’s happy with the pair, and she’s not afraid to let them know it!
Cristina is surprised to find that Owen has asked their lawyers for a speedy divorce. Although she tries to mask her pain with a sharp tongue it’s clear she’s not ready for the end as quickly as it’s coming.
When Meredith tries to get help from Lizzie to get Derek into surgery she sure isn’t ready for the verbal beatdown the Shepherd sister has for her. Lizzie doesn’t mind helping, but wants to know why they’ve been left out of Meredith and Derek’s lives. Let’s hope she doesn’t find out about Meredith’s secret pregnancy!
