Last week, creator Shonda Rhimes explained that some major changes had been made to the Grey’s Anatomy season 9 finale. Now some spoilers are being released teasing fans at another catastrophe!
According to TV Line the Grey’s Anatomy season 9 finale is “big — literally and figuratively.” It will also be considered a two-part finale aired over the last two weeks of season 9.
The consulting producer of Grey’s Anatomy, Dan Bucatinsky, also teased about the episode leading up to the last two episodes. Epiosde 9×22 is titled “The Magic of Medicine” and is described as an exploration of magic. Going into more detail of the theme Bucatinsky says, “The magic of medicine, and also the magic of romance and the ways in which the revelation of a secret can play both as a blessing or a curse.”
More specifically, it will look at Meredith and Derek as they prepare for the birth of their baby and seem to get even more scared as it approaches. Bucatinsky explains, “They’re looking at both the magic of creating a family and the scariness of not knowing.”
