The future of several surgeon’s careers hangs in the balance tonight on Grey’s Anatomy season 11, episode 3, “Got to Be Real.”

On the last episode of Grey’s Anatomy Maggie started to meet more surgeons and fit in. Although Derek was nice enough when he met Maggie, Meredith was still cold. Richard encouraged her to keep trying though.

Maggie and Jo went back and forth all episode – not agreeing on patient care and personal lives. But in the end Maggie was impressed with Jo’s work. Maggie also seemed to get on quite well with Amelia.

After working together on a cancer patient who died, Maggie started to feel better about Meredith. So Maggie took the leap and told Meredith that they share a mother. What she wasn’t expecting was for Meredith to accuse her of lying. It doesn’t look like these two will be bonding anytime soon.
