A Maggie centric episode airs tonight on Grey’s Anatomy season 11, episode 2, “Puzzle With A Piece Missing.” Get ready with the stills, synopsis, and previews here!

On the last episode of Grey’s Anatomy Alex took the place of Cristina and helped Meredith work through issues with Derek. She admitted to him that she wasn’t sure if her marriage could survive the distance if he moved to D.C.

Meredith’s day didn’t get much better from there. The treatment of an emergency patient turned into a battle with Maggie who disagreed on what tests were more important. Their argument in the OR almost caused the loss of the patient’s very important organ.

At the end of the day, Derek came to the realization that he didn’t want to be separated from his children. So he decided to resign from his position in D.C. But this also angered Meredith who believes he will blame her for this later down the road.

Meanwhile, Maggie wondered if telling Meredith the truth about their mother was a wise decision. Richard happened to overhear her arguing with Meredith too.

So Maggie revealed to him that she might have changed her mind about wanting to know her biological family. It was a blow to Richard who is sure he’s actually Maggie’s father.
