Single, you say? Not for long! Grey’s Anatomy has always been about more than the patients that walk in and out of hospital. Whenever a relationship is on the outs, it is only a matter of time before another doctor, consultant, or vet is on deck to swoop in.
Shonda Rhimes spoke during the hiatus about the future of Callie and Arizona’s love lives. With their focuses pulled elsewhere, Rhimes mentions that the pull between the two is not entirely gone in an instant. Rhimes says, “If you break up with somebody, it’s not like you don’t love them anymore. They’re right there. Are they friends? Are they still there for one another in times of need?”
With a daughter together, they are always going to be in each other’s lives. But for right now it is Callie’s turn to step into the batter’s box.
In this week’s Grey’s Anatomy season 11, episode 10, Callie tries to convince Owen that it is time to take his eyes off of Germany and focus back on the opportunities in front of him.
