Now that Grey’s Anatomy has gotten through the epic season 10 premiere they can move onto happier plot lines. The creator and cast are dishing on an upcoming wedding, new love interests, Ben’s return, and Cristina’s impending exit.

There will be a wedding in Grey’s Anatomy season 10! Though whose it will be remains to be seen. In the season 10 premiere April couldn’t seem to make up her mind on who she really wanted to be with. But after being told off by Jackson, April officially accepted Matthew’s proposal. Sarah Drew, who plays April, tells TV Guide that they’re currently filming episode 7 and that April is wedding planning.

Show creator Shonda Rhimes says there will be a wedding but is staying tight lipped on whose it is. “I’ve been planning one, so I think we’re going to see one, yes,” Rhimes explains. “I’m not going to say a word, but we’ve been making plans for that kind of thing.”

Rhimes also teased that Cristina, Owen, Callie, and Arizona may start getting new love interests of their own. When asked if she thought Grey’s Anatomy fans would freak out she responded, “I totally understand that because I freaked out a little bit too, but I think it’s going to be good.”

She also teased that intern Leah, played by Tessa Ferrer, will be getting an “interesting” new love interest. But wouldn’t say anymore on the matter. Could it be Owen, Callie, or Arizona? That would be an interesting way to tie her in with the veteran characters.

Bailey will be getting a little love of her own when Ben makes his return to Seattle. However, it may not be the best of visits as the long distance seems to be wearing on the couple. Jason George, who plays Ben, explains, “It’s always good news for Bailey and Ben when Ben makes it up to Seattle, but it’s a long distance relationship and that wears and tears on everybody.” He also warns that in the episode the couple won’t be acting like themselves.

Rhimes didn’t really want to discuss Sandra Oh’s exit on the series, but did say that she already knows how it will happen. But first Grey’s Anatomy will focus on celebrating her character. “It’s the back half of the season, so we have 22 episodes to really enjoy Cristina and love her, so we’re just going to enjoy ourselves doing what we’re doing now,” says Rimes.
