The Grey’s Anatomy spring premiere is chock full of facing ugly truths. Relive all the best moments with our full recap!

Ten seasons, thirteen episodes, and the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital still have plenty of demons to face! The spring premiere of season ten, “Take it Back,” picks up at April’s wedding following a bold confession from Jackson.

•April and Jackson run out of the church hand in hand and drive off into the sunset. They only make it to just after dusk before April’s conscious catches up to her and she ditches Jackson in the middle of the road in her gown.

•Derek tells Meredith about his call with the President of the United States. Unfortunately, the leader of the free world’s plans may lead Derek to break his promise to Meredith about life at home.

•Arizona’s reaches her breaking point in her marriage and tries to convince Callie it is time to recognize a failure when they see one.

•Fed up with having another marriage where the man waits around for her, Bailey discovers that Ben left his surgical residency, a place he loved and thrived in, to be with her.

After taking care of some house keeping, the show picks up three weeks later. At the hospital, a multiple car pile up floods the ER with many injuries. Among which is a man surgically reconstructed to look like a… cat?

•Callie and Arizona’s differences must have worked out because their impending chat after the wedding leads them to the suburbs and their new home.

•Ben and Bailey work out a way to get Ben back in the surgical rotation in Grey Sloan Memorial. Even if it means Bailey looking over him from a few floors away.

•Alex attempts to pass his father back to his step-mother, by telling her that Jimmy was dead. Imagine her surprise when she comes to pick up a guitar and finds the worst part of her life barely alive, but nonetheless breathing.

•Christina and Meredith begin to mend their relationship in a way only two surgeons can. Repair an aorta!

•In surgery, Jackson finally hears about the fall out from Leah. She tells him to look at all the damage he has caused. Not only with Steph, but April as well.

•Alex’s proposal to Jo did not go according to plan, especially since she did not remember it happening. Already dealing with his father’s death, Alex storms off leaving Jo to frustratingly break a vending machine with her fist.

•Owen attempts to get Ross back into the game after botching Jimmy’s surgery by throwing him in with Ben and Weber. Hunt’s pressure tactics humiliate Ross and challenge Weber’s place under his lead.

•Steph tells Jackson that he cannot take back what he did to her at the wedding, but he can give the Cat-man another shot at a normal life by fixing his face pro-bono. But as it turns out, Steph realizes she cannot be around Jackson and considers a transfer.

•A nervous Derek is vetted by the White House. They do not uncover much, but they do ask why he is sending $3500 to Michael Betcher every month.

•Callie worries that Arizona is only seeing their new house, but not her in it. All fears aside, Arizona tells her that their house is a fresh start, one that they will build together.

•In the end, Alex sits with Jimmy as he passes. After comforting him with kind words about the second family he left, Alex turns off his monitors, sits back, and calls him a son-of-a-bitch.

•Derek joins Meredith in the lab, where Derek tells her about an incident on the high school hockey team that left him brain damaged. Paying for his mistakes years later, Meredith only finds him more perfect and infuriating. The answer from DC still hangs in the balance.

•In an emergency board meeting, Owen informs them that Stephanie has filed three separate complaints against Jackson. A new policy is set for a vote where in no employee of the hospital may date a superior. Existing couples are exempt.

•Meaning that April and Jackson need to come clean about what took place after she got out of the car. Already dolled up for a wedding, she and Jackson eloped to Lake Tahoe.
