Good news for TGIT fans: Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away With Murder will all return to ABC for another season.

In a move that shocks no one, ABC has decided to order another season of their hit Shonda Rhimes TGIT series. Grey’s Anatomy will return for season 15, Scandal for season 7, and How to Get Away With Murder for season 4.

Airing all of the Shondaland hits together has been a great success for ABC. Since the return of TGIT the network has hit the No. 1 spot each week among Adults 18-49. Despite being in its 13th season, Grey’s Anatomy is still ABC’s No. 1 show among Adults 18-49 and is ranking as the No. 3 broadcast drama on TV. It doesn’t look like this show will be going anywhere anytime soon.

Even though it was pushed to mid-season, Scandal has been ranking No. 1 in its hour since it premiered among Adults 18-49. And How to Get Away With Murder has also been raking as the No. 1 drama this season in its time slot for Adults 18-149.

Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment broke the news, saying, “Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder continue to keep viewers on the edge of their seats and wanting more. I’m thrilled to bring back these shows and the OMG moments that come with them.”

On March 9, The Catch will be taking over the 10 p.m. ET time slot on TGIT. In its second season, the show is going through some changes and embracing its romantic comedy side. Since it’s a Shondaland series, we wouldn’t be surprised if it was renewed as well.

Are you glad to see ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ ‘Scandal,’ and ‘How to Get Away With Murder’ renewed?
