It looks like we’ll definitely be returning to Grey Sloan Memorial in the fall. Grey’s Anatomy has officially been renewed by ABC.

This doesn’t come as a huge surprise, considering the medical drama is ABC’s highest performing drama in the 18-49 demographic. It would’ve been strange for ABC to end the series, especially with Scandal having just aired its final episode.

Still, with Shonda Rhimes’ new Netflix deal, we didn’t feel 100% confident, so it’s nice to finally have confirmation. As far as we know, Rhimes will still be attached to the show as an executive producer in season 15.

Along with the renewal news, ABC also divulged who the regular cast members would be for the new season. Those listed were Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey), Justin Chambers (Alex Karev), Chandra Wilson (Miranda Bailey), James Pickens Jr. (Richard Webber), Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt), Jesse Williams (Jackson Avery), Caterina Scorsone (Amelia Shepherd), Camilla Luddington (Jo Wilson), Kelly McCreary (Maggie Pierce) and Giacomo Gianniotti (Andrew DeLuca).

Grey’s Anatomy will presumably be returning to its #TGIT time slot, but as for what will be joining it, we’re still not sure. As we mentioned, Scandal is officially over, and How to Get Away With Murder and Station 19 haven’t yet been renewed.

Make sure you tune into the season 14 finale of Grey’s Anatomy on Thursday, May 3 at 8/7c on ABC.
