More good news for Grey’s Anatomy fans as original cast members Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., and Sara Ramirez sign on for two more seasons.

Although Grey’s Anatomy hasn’t officially been picked up for any additional seasons, ABC has been hard at work re-negotiating contracts with the stars of the series. After the announcement that fan favorite Sandra Oh would be leaving after season 10, many worried others would follow suit.

However, according to TV Line the rest of the original cast has signed contracts for season 11 and 12. This includes: Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., and Sara Ramirez (who actually joined the series in season 2).

This comes after news that ABC has decided not to renew contracts with newcomers Tessa Ferrer (who plays Leah) and Gaius Charles (who plays Shane) for season 11.

Two other original cast members, Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey, signed similar two year contracts back in January.

Are you glad to see the original cast will be returning to ‘Grey’s Anatomy’?
