True Blood actress Camilla Luddington will be starting her new job at Seattle Grace Hospital in the ninth season of Grey’s Anatomy.
Luddington joins the ABC drama in a recurring role with a series option, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Her acting credits include a multi-episode stint on this season of HBO’s True Blood, a season-long arc on Showtime’s Californication and the role of Kate Middleton in Lifetime’s TV movie William & Kate.
She joins former Friday Night Lights star Gaius Charles as the newest additions to creator Shonda Rhimes’ cast of doctors.
Grey’s returns this fall.
