Yet another hunk is making his way to Grey’s Anatomy. Justin Bruening will be heading to Seattle Grace in a recurring role in early 2013.

Bruening, known for his roles in the CW’s Ringer and ABC Family’s Switched At Birth, will play a paramedic and possible love interest to one of the Seattle Grace doctors, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

He will make his first appearance in late January or early February, soon after the show returns from its winter hiatus after 9×09 “Run, Baby, Run” airs Dec. 13.

Now that Jackson and April have ended things (for now, anyway), our bet is that Jackson will get some competition from Bruening’s character. That is, unless Cristina is interested in him, which is doubtful considering she told Meredith she wants Owen back last week.

Check out still from this week’s 9×08 “Love Turns You Upside Down,” which will see Neve Campbell guest starring as Derek Shepherd’s sister, Lizzie. After last week’s shocking news that Meredith is pregnant and the Japril breakup/pregnancy scare, “Love Turns You Upside Down” is bound to be a good one.

Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Who do you think Bruening’s character will be wooing early next year?
