The cast of Grey’s Anatomy just got bigger with the addition of Friday Night Lights star Gaius Charles.
As TVLine reports, Charles will be joining the Seattle Grace crew in a recurring role, with details still being worked out.
Charles played Smash Williams on Friday Night Lights and also had roles in Pan-Am and NCIS.
Last week, we learned that creator Shonda Rhimes was looking to cast four new doctors for the upcoming ninth season of ABC’s medical drama.
Grey’s returns this fall.
