Grey’s Anatomy is back tomorrow with episode 9×17 “Transplant Wasteland”! Get ready with this sneak peek showing how Jackson will handle his new role at Seattle Grace Mercy West.

Although the hospital has been saved, it’s obvious that it’s no more stable than it was before the buy out. While Derek, Meredith, Cristina, Callie, Arizona, and the largest investor, the Harper-Avery Foundation, have kept the doors open, they have yet to solve the management problems that were created when the hospital lost all its money. Now they have to pick up the pieces and it’s not going to be easy, especially since the rest of the staff is still getting used to the idea of their former co-workers now being the ones in charge.

Jesse Williams revealed last month that Jackson would not be taking his new role at the hospital lightly, and this sneak peek certainly proves just that. While teasing that Seattle Grace Mercy West would be undergoing some pretty significant changes, he also revealed that his character is not going to be happy about the situation.

Williams teased that his new role as the main investor of the hospital, “creates some inner turmoil for him, and maybe a little bit of guilt. But he’s going to have to make it work or get run over. And I think we’re going to see that struggle over the course of the next few episodes.”

How do you think Jackson will deal with his turmoil?
