The Grey’s Anatomy 200th episode “Puttin’ on the Ritz” just finished airing on ABC. Now you can read our recap and discuss the story line with fellow fans.

Here are the highlights from Grey’s Anatomy 200th episode “Puttin’ on the Ritz”:

• Jackson and Owen walk into the the fundraising gala and are surprised to find that their “conservative” gala is actually an extravagant circus theme.
• Meredith stops at the hospital before going to the gala and argues with Bailey over Weber’s care.
• Stephanie gets upset when Jackson doesn’t invite her to the gala so decides to take it out on the other interns instead.
• Alex is just about to leave the hospital when someone eerily familiar comes into the ER after getting into an accident under the influence.
• Callie reveals that Meredith and Derek are going crazy out of work and have started having small competitions against each other.
• Jackson decides to hold a competition of his own, offering 10% of the funds to the department of the surgeon that raises the most money.
• Callie finds an admirer in someone who saw her speech at the tech conference. When he apologizes for her wife’s death Callie doesn’t correct him!
• Meredith worries that she won’t be able to win the competition so Cristina tells her to pretend she’s trying to pick them up like she used to at the bar.
• Bailey has a hard time breaking it to one of her patients that his cancer is no longer treatable.
• Jo is worried when Alex is off his game and doesn’t want to talk to any of the donors.
• Owen gets to practice his hand at flirting on a very pretty donor!
• Derek Calls Meredith out for flirting with a donor and becomes even more determined to win the competition. Meredith gets pissed when he retaliates by pulling baby Derek out of daycare to distract her.
• Cristina tries to woo her own donors but becomes distracted by seeing Owen talk to another women. But plays off disrupting them by telling Owen that she should focus on the richer donors.
• Callie gets multiple pity donations by crying to donors about her “dead” wife.
• Arizona confesses to April that she can’t stand the way that people judge and stare at her for being a cheater.
• Owen finds out that the donor he was trying to woo is actually from another hospital trying to gain her own donors. But she does admit to being attracted to Owen. (Can’t decide if this is good or not)
• Thanks, Grey’s Anatomy for grossing me out with that bone sticking out of the performers foot after she fell!
• The gala is basically ruined when all the surgeons have to head back to the hospital to help the interns and bring in in the injured performer.
• Bailey tries to convince Weber to accept the treatment he keeps refusing to no avail. When she tries to force him he violently pushes her away and yells at her to leave him alone.
• When Derek finds Meredith in surgery instead of at the gala he decides to join her in the operating room instead of being upset.
• Since the gala is ruined after the accident, he brings the donors into the gallery to watch Callie work. Watching Callie repair the performers leg inspires them to cough up the dough.
• Alex confesses to Jo that he thinks one of the junkies that came into the ER is his dad. He decides to draw his blood and preform a paternity test in order to find out the truth.
• Derek reminisces about the last formal party he and Meredith went to, you know that one where she lost her panties and he was still with Addison?
• Bailey puts her dying patient in Weber’s room in hopes that he will come to his senses. And guess what, it works!
• Jackson is not pleased to walk in on Shane and Stephanie kissing! But when she explains that she didn’t want the kiss he seems to believe her. (We’ll see how long that will last.)
• Alex lashes out when the paternity test comes back positive, the addict that came into the ER is indeed his father.
• Even though she won’t admit it, Cristina is clearly crushed to see Owen moving on with his life and showing interest in another women.
