April and Jackson have been through so much together on Grey’s Anatomy, but this week the show is going to fill fans in on the parts they haven’t seen!
Grey’s Anatomy fans have been losing their minds trying to figure out what’s going on with April and Jackson. Their marriage started off as a secret and was romantic, sexy, and everything shippers were hoping for. However, thinks quickly took a turn when the pair realized that their views were so very different.
Their disagreement on how to raise children very quickly became a big issue when April revealed that she was pregnant. They later learned that the child had a severe form of Osteogenesis Imperfecta and decided to induce labor early. After the death of their child, April decided to go overseas and help the army as a trauma surgeon.
When the tour ended up lasting much longer than originally planned, Jackson and April’s relationship became even more strained. Despite Jackson’s opposition to the idea, April decided to go back for more. Instead of welcoming her back with open arms, Jackson asked April to move out of their apartment.
Ever since then, fans have been on the edge of their seats to see if the couple could work things out. It seemed like they were heading towards forgiveness, until we saw Jackson had April served with divorce papers in the mid-season premiere!
On Grey’s Anatomy 12×11 “Unbreak My Heart,” fans will get to go back in time through flashbacks to see how April and Jackson’s relationship has evolved. Fans will get to see them back in their days at Mercy West, their elopement, and see them talk more about the loss of their son.
If the stars social media is anything to go by, fans can expect to shed a lot of tears!
