Green Day has confirmed they will be performing at SXSW in Austin, Texas on March 15.

Not only will the California rockers–who hail from the San Francisco Bay Area–be performing at the Moody Theater in Austin, but they will also be debuting two of their documentaries, ¡Cuatro! and Broadway Idiot.

Both films will be presented as a double feature at Austin’s Paramount Theater early in the day followed by Green Day’s performance at the ACL Live Series.

¡Cuatro! features the band’s creative process during the making of their album trilogy, appropriately titled, ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tré!

The process of adapting their highly successful American Idiot album into a full-length Broadway musical will be the focal point of Broadway Idiot.

Fans are in for a real treat as they can take in the behind-the-scenes process of one of punk-rocks biggest names creating their newest string of albums along with transforming their lyrics into a powerful stage production.

Green Day’s performance at the ACL Live Series also marks a huge step for the band as this will be the trio’s first live performance since Billie Joe Armstrong was admitted to rehab last year.

With Armstrong’s stay in rehab, the group canceled a slew of tour dates. Now, the band will be picking up where they left off beginning at the All State Arena in Rosemont, IL on March 28.

For a complete list of Green Day’s tour dates, you can find it on the band’s official website.
