Sony has announced the anticipated Vita title Gravity Rush will be hitting retail and digital shelves come this June.

According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, the game will release June 12 in North America and June 13 in Europe.

Gravity Rush was previously announced for the PlayStation Vita launch window, with retailers anticipating the game’s release in May.

The game was released in Japan under the name Gravity Daze earlier this month to much critical acclaim including an almost perfect score from Famitsu magazine.

Gravity Rush is set in a futuristic world and follows a young girl named Kat who has the ability to distort gravity.
