Gordon is ready for a new day in Gotham season 2, but the villains have other ideas.
Fox has released a brand new promo for Gotham season 2, including a look at some new villains. The promo starts out with Gordon and Captain Essen saying that it’s a “new day.” But, of course, it’s also a new day for the villains who are ready to take over now that Falcone and Maroni are gone.
We get a quick look at Penguin and Selina, who appear to be working together. Victor Zaasz might also be on Penguin’s side now. Plus, we see new baddies Theo Galavan and his sister Tigress, as well as Jerome Valeska, who is really working the Joker angle with that infamous laugh. It also looks like Jerome brings friends from Arkham when he breaks out.
Nygma looks like he might be cracking under the pressure of hiding his secret. And Barbara doesn’t seem back to normal yet either.
With all this madness running lose, plus the problems from within, how will Gordon keep the city safe? Fans will have to tune in to the premiere of Gotham season 2 on September 21 to find out!
